I do qualitative UX research that changes what teams build.
Most recently I led digital UX research at Ford Pro. The work below shows how I frame a question, choose a method, and get a team to act on what they hear.
Case studies
Stopping a feature that wouldn't have worked
Ford Pro onboarding. Idea to tested prototype in two weeks, and a roadmap pivot credited with saving about $250,000.
A survey spike, and the organizational gap behind it
Ford Pro billing and payments. A survey spike traced back to a customer migration design gap, and led to new coordination between two business units.
Signed in, but still being sold to
Ford Pro authenticated experience. Over 50 research sessions documented why a sales-and-marketing site was failing signed-in customers.

About
I came to research through journalism, which is where I learned to interview people, listen for what they don't say first, and write findings that busy people will read. I hold an NN/g UX Master Certificate and am a Certified ScrumMaster.
I work mainly in qualitative and mixed-methods research, and I look for the point where a finding turns into a decision.
